A meeting for young crystallographers Welcome to the 2nd Young Crystallographers Meeting, which will take place from December 2nd to 5th, 2025 in Rennes at the Institut des sciences chimiques de Rennes. This scientific event was planned by popular demand as a follow up of the YCM1, which happened in Strasbourg in 2023. The multidisciplinary character of crystallography will be promoted during this event with sessions mixing talks from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mineralogy and Heritage Science fields. The objectives of the YCM2 are to gather young crystallographers in a multidisciplinary and international context, to create opportunities for scientific exchange, and to provide networking opportunities with industry with a specific focus on the training and career development of the young scientist participants. The YCM2 is supported by the French crystallographic societies (AFC), the CNRS, the French Physics Society (SFP), the Maison de la Chimie, the French Chemical Society (SCF), the Institut des Sciences Chimiques de Rennes (ISCR), the University of Rennes, Rennes Metropole and the Bretagne Region. We are also generously sponsored by DECTRIS, Rigaku, STOE and Malvern Panalytical !
Early-career Scientists IUCr mobility grants are available! Who can apply: graduate students, post-graduate students or post-doctoral fellows within five (5) years of receiving a graduate degree. Academic interruptions, including periods of parental leave, are taken into account.
